I wish I had a dollar for every time in my adult live I’ve asked, “Any questions?”

As a teacher, there were probably only a few days a year that I didn’t ask, at least one time every class period, if anyone had any questions. I’ve also said it to my own children over and over as I taught them how to do something like make a bed or prepare macaroni & cheese, when I was explaining something in response to their initial query, and in other conversations.

Contrary to the old adage, there IS such a thing as a “stupid question”. When coming upon someone removing an obviously-flat tire from a jacked-up car, “Did you get a flat?” is not a wise question. When . . . well, I think you get the point.

But a good question, asked at an appropriate time and in the right way, can be invaluable!

It can help a person solve a problem, overcome an obstacle, find peace . . .

With that in mind, I’ll be posing at least one question (usually two) every day on social media (Patti Miinch on facebook and instagram). I hope that you’ll ponder each question and answer it honestly. And I hope that doing so is beneficial in some way . . . makes you smile, builds your confidence, strengthens your resolve, inspires you . . .

So visit me on social media every morning and afternoon this week; ponder and answer the question.

What do you have to lose?
