I’m going to be brutally honest with you. Our primetime years are quite often more difficult than the previous stages of our lives.

Many of us are already experiencing the physical results of 55+ years of life; the wear and tear on our bodies is beginning to show. Those who haven’t yet begun to experience aches & pains, joints that don’t operate as smoothly as in the past, and other issues almost surely will — sooner rather than later, in fact.

Many of us have lost — through death, divorce, etc. — a loved one or are grappling with the declining health of a parent, spouse, sibling, etc. Some of us are experiencing the loss of a physically or emotionally close relationship with one or more of our children.

For a myriad of reasons, many of us are facing leaner times financially. Retirement dollars may not be stretching as far as we expected or the savings we worked hard to put aside have not fared well in recent years.

The list could go on and on, of course, but I’m sure you get the point.

So what are we primetimers to do? What can we do to nourish ourselves physically, emotionally, and spiritually?

That’s what we’ll be focusing on here and on social media (Patti Miinch on both Facebook and Instagram) this week. Stop by every day and join in the conversation on why it is so important to nourish ourselves and how we can do that!
